Описание:Подробно обосновывается предложенная автором (1995) принципиально новая концепция фотосинтеза. Согласно ей источником кислорода (водорода) при фотосинтезе служит не вода, а пероксид водорода экзо- и эндогенного происхождения. Убедительно показана необходимость участия в фотосинтезе тепловой энергии, введено представление о локальном разогреве хлоропласта. Новая концепция фотосинтеза позволила предложить экологически чистый принцип преобразования солнечной энергии, объяснить неудачную кислородную динамику в «Биосфере-2», выдвинуть новый подход к стимулированию роста и развития растений. Обсуждены также следствия, вытекающие из концепции (связь фотосинтеза и дыхания, возможность нового подхода к объяснению формирования атмосферы Земли), затронут вопрос о происхождении жизни и др.
